An Exasperated Phil Bredesen Wishes Congress Had To Listen To What He Listens To

Posted on November 19, 2009 at 11:20 pm

Gov. Phil Bredesen from the budget hearings:

“I wish every member of Congress would have to come sit in this room and listen to the real world of what’s going on in Medicaid today. I mean how could you listen to this stuff, the stuff you are talking about eliminating just to get through this, and then talk about adding a whole bunch of new expenses on to the states.”

Yeah, too bad he pissed too many people off and didn’t get the HHS postition. Now he’s whining about not being listened too. What a baby.

Bredesen couldn’t be more right. What are the odds he challenges Corker in 2012?
