McWherter Campaign Poll Gives Kyle A Boost

Posted on November 17, 2009 at 10:43 am

Sean Braisted explains:

The surprising aspect of this poll to me is not so much that McWherter goes from 26 to 34% when voters are reminded that his father was the Governor and that he owns a business, but that Jim Kyle jumps from 4th place with 5% to 2nd place with 19% when people find out about his qualifications.

That’s a smart point, Sean. Kyle got in last but comes from a strong base. And, the poll seems to indicate that when voters find out about him, they like. Plus, he’s running 2nd in all those “phony” straw polls.

Agreed. Does so strength for Kyle’s story.

The only poll that matters right now, though, is fundraising. Any word on how that’s going?

602 surveyed with McWherter polling at 26% with the next closest at 6%. Yeah.

…..anyone want to take this poll seriously?

Why wouldn’t you take it seriously? 602 is a legit sample. All it’s polling at this point is name recognition.

602 is a good sample if the sample is properly distributed and reflects the population as a whole..

That should give a Poll with the margin of error of about 4-6%

Did you guys read the poll.. IF THE THOSE POLLED WERE REMINDED HIS DAD WAS GOVERNOR.

This is a poll that is useless as breasts on a boar hog.
