Blue Dog No More?

But some questioned why I omitted Rep. Jim Cooper, D-Nashville, from the Blue Dog lineup. Cooper voted “aye” for PelosiCare with the dreamy caveat that “it will get better in the Senate.” The one-time fiscal conservative (he can’t say that anymore) and budget hawk (this vote forever disqualifies him from that moniker) was likely safe to vote “aye” since Nashville ranks second in Tennessee in the number of lefties only to Memphis.

I didn’t forget Cooper. I just moved him out of the Blue Dog category and into the Pelosi Lap Dog category.
