Kentucky Joins Firearms Freedom Movement

From 10th Amendment Center:

Enough is enough,” urged Tennessee State Senator Mae Beavers. “Our founders fought too hard to ensure states’ sovereignty and I am sick and tired of activist federal officials and judges sticking their noses where they don’t belong.”

    It’s a shame Mae is leaving the Senate. She’s the only Republican who continually stands up for Constitutional government.

    Like in our God given right to - make guns.

    Talk about taking a serious issue and turning it into a JOKE. When the same people want government out of a woman’s WOMB, then talk to me about states rights and all that rot. When the same people want govermnet out of their computer, their telephone and their car, then talk to me about GUNS.

    Jeez …

    Besides the womb thing I think Beavers will agree with you on the rest (even though I agree most Repubs dont)

    Tenth amendment? The one that says powers not delegated to the federal government are left to states?

    Second amendment: “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state…”

    Article I section 8 (powers of Congress): “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

    To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

    Based on the purpose perscribed in the Second Amendment, the feds have much authority over the “well regulated militia.” If they mean gun rights for other purposes, they should look to the ninth amendment.

    Wow, I can understand why you are pro abortion. Your already born.

    Too Bad the Democrats love the sacrifice of babies to their God of National Socialism. But cannot even admit that the Obama administration’s dropped its guard and we have had 3 acts of terrorism on his watch after 7 1/2 years of Safety.
