Phil Valentine And Hecklers Show Up At Al Gore Book Signing In Green Hills

Posted on November 9, 2009 at 7:50 am

From Anne Paine:

Radio talk show host and columnist Phil Valentine, who says global warming doesn’t exist and is a critic of Gore, was hanging around the edges of the crowd hoping for an interview, along with some others who agree with Valentine’s view.

“You’re a traitor,” Matt Gulliver, 30, called out toward Gore, who was seated, signing books.

Gulliver said he was a Ron Paul supporter with a group called We Are Change and thought global warming was a hoax perpetrated by governments and large corporations.

Most there appeared delighted and some awed to get to spend a moment with the former vice president and Nobel Prize winner.

Gore thanked Lynne Cohen when she told him she had worked in his campaign.

“I’m sorry you lost,” she added, as he signed the six books she had bought.

“Well, me, too,” Gore said with a smile.

    Hey folks,

For the record, I’m the director of Phil’s documentary, I was with him filming at that book signing, and those hecklers who showed up were not with us. So as far as the “disrespect” goes, we neither endorsed them shouting at Mr. Gore. We actually distanced ourselves from those people because we knew that people would go around saying, “Well Phil Valentine brought a bunch of hecklers.” No, we didn’t. That was a different group of people.

I was there too along with 1 other 9-12er and all we did was walk around and gave out free copies of the Constitution. I never heard any part of Phil’s group say one thing to anyone much less Al Gore. My partner and I never yelled at anyone either!
We where respectful to the book store and the guests there. We did however have one lady not even from this country say to us , “It hurts me when someone lies about Al Gore” It was cult like and scary. Her male companion ask where in the constitution was Jesus, trying to imply that any american that upholds our constitution is a far right religious nut case. He said those words, we never brought up anything about religion. My response was there should be a separation of church and state and I walked off
It is proven that the Climate Change is false and a scam and it will be one of the ways that the far left brings down our free market system if we let them.
