Gentlemen it must be nice living in your dreamworld. Applauding politicians for trying to take control of more of your personal lives. Amazing…..

Yeah, like insurance companies don’t invade our personal lives daily. Get a clue, republicans.

So, we’re now lavishly commending Coop for at long last doing the right thing at little or no risk to his seat?

    Perhaps we’re setting Coop’s high-jump bar at limbo-low levels.

The Republicans knew what they were doing. They were making sure the profits in healthcare continued to go to their friends in the insurance industry. Cooper only voted on it because he knew they had the votes. He probably then called the insurance folks and they gave him the green light to vote on it.

He didn’t like the bill, but he tabled those objections for the good of the country and party…who knows what happened behind the scenes, but its very possible his support for passage brought the 1 or 2 other dems over the line.

Dan…yeah, how dare the federal government make it so my insurance company can’t drop me when I get sick by finding some error or omission on a form filled out 20 yrs ago. Oh, and helping the working class afford insurance? What a blow to the freedom to go bankrupt because you get sick.
