    I love the “intellectuals” in this website who immediately start screaming “RACIST BIGOT” as soon as someone suggests that : Hasan’s religious beliefs were the driving factor behind this. His own cousin said that he has discussed the righteousness of the insurgency in Iraq/Afghanistan. So before you resort to the kneejerk liberal “OMG he’s a racist!!” reaction, actually look at the friggin facts in the story.

    And back to the so-called “journalist” on this blog…God forbid we bring up the guy’s religion, but we sure can let everyone know that someone with the same name donated money to the Republican Party. Honestly…do liberals have to politicize every single tragedy?

Your point is so unclear (maybe it’s clear to you, but you did not make it clear to the readership) that it could be anything. If, as a few have suggested, your point is to mock and criticize anyone who would consider whether the shooter’s religious identity and beliefs had anything to do with his motive, then you are, by definition, one who seeks to chill debate, discussion, inquiry, and the truth. That is sick, and you do not deserve the moniker “journalist.”
