The supposed Republican dropped out and endorsed the Democrat. I guess even more than party over country is two-party system over anything. Since the two parties have spent considerable time rigging the game.

I dunno, I don’t doubt the two party system’s desire and ability to self perpetuate, but I don’t think that’s what’s going on here. If she’s really just so gosh darn liberal that the conservatives had to abandon her, then I’d think the Democrat would just be closer to her ideology. Better someone a foot to her left than a mile to her right.

Now, if the RNC had endorsed the Democrat, then yeah, that would reflect what Uncle’s suggesting. But they didn’t, so…
