Vic Lineweaver Attends A Bunch Of Strangers’ Funerals
By Kleinheider Posted on November 2, 2009 at 7:41 pmAnd gets called out on it:
And the Channel 4 I-Team found Lineweaver’s signature again, and again, and again in the visitation guest books of strangers.
Meek said he doesn’t know Lineweaver. Neither, he said, did his wife or friends.
“All I know is what I’ve seen on TV,” he said.
What further perplexed these families is that when Lineweaver showed up, they said, he never even talked to them or their families.
“Why did he bother coming to sign the book?” Davis said. “He never came in to visit. He only signed the book and left.”
“Why would you go to funerals or visitations of people you don’t even know and don’t even know any of the family? Why would you do that?” Meek said.

what’s this dude’s deal? What is this even called? Funeral crashing?
Its a secret ballot, so u never really know if the person who died voted for him…
I would much rather my elected official have sex with his intern than try to snuggle up to dead people’s relatives through the visitation book. The only term I could come up with for this is “voter necrophilia.” Definitely one of the most creepy and bizarre things I’ve ever heard.
Why would you go to funerals or visitations of people you don’t even know and don’t even know any of the family?
Same reason Will Ferrell did in “Wedding Crashers”?
Why would you go to funerals or visitations of people you don’t even know and don’t even know any of the family?
To avoid real work.
This reminds me of one of our numerous beloved eccentrics here in Maury County. I’ll call her May, since that was her name. She went to most every funeral at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home, whether or not she knew the deceased. She usually rode up front with the hearse driver on the way to cemetery. No one I know of was offended. May wasn’t a politician, though.
May is dead now herself, but when I was a kid and lived in town, May’s house was on the way home from school, and my sister and I used to stop in and visit with her. She had 20 cats and one dog.
Vic needs to fade away.
Any event is a possible vote for politicans like
Vic. Especially if being seen is more important than
having to discuss matters of the office in which
you are drawing a nice salary and GREAT benefits.
Walking, talking, clown & scumbag!
sounds like someone trying to set up alibis or excuses… What was he supposed to be doing at those times…if he only came in, signed the book, and left…where did he go?
Issues of children are important and should be discussed and debated in terms of who should have them, abortion, government assistance, etc. There are no “easy” answers to those questions and they are obviously hotly debated. However, what should not be even debated is this clown needs to be removed from office. Regardless of how you stand on adoption issues, child support issues, even abortion issues, just go spend an hour in the Juvenile Court of Davidson County and you will see that while the Judge and Referees try their best, the clerk’s office is an undisputed mess and desperately needs some professional administration to at least have files available!
He came to my mother’s funeral in August. No one in the family, least of all my 90 year old mother knows him. He is sleasy at best, a fraud at worst.
This isn’t a bad thing, that is attending a constituent’s funeral visitation. It is old-school, but not inappropriate.
Oh please he’s a disgrace and a joke of an individual better know as the Bellevue town drunk. He needs to take himself along with his bathrobe and crawl under the bridge. The citizens would be better off without him along with the juvenile justice system would be better without him as well. He’s just a joke.
What is wrong with that? I do it!
So, what Donna is trying to say is that Vic Lineweaver is the cat lady
