Sen. Corker on the beginnings of a brand:

The Taliban has become a “brand” that is ” beginning to mutate to other countries,” Corker said. He doesn’t consider the Taliban a direct threat to the U.S., but the idea of a successful insurgency disrupting an elected government could spread and pose dangers outside of Afghanistan, he said.
