Time to attack Zach because we’ve got a new frontrunner in the Republican primary…

Hard to know whether this is a Haslam attack or a Ramsey attack.

It’s becoming pretty obvious that Wamp is the guy pulling ahead of the others or else why would they feel the need to go into his past to try to make him look bad?

    It’s either:

    A) This was a Haslam attack because Jim and Jimmy got worried that Wamp raised $175,000 last night in their hometown and are starting to feel like their money might not be able to buy the Governor’s mansion.

    or

    B) Another example of Ramsey’s quite comical and ever desperate campaign for Governor. The first attack on Haslam and Wamp was clearly a Ramsey tactic…one could assume the same about this one.

Either way..consecutive cheesy attacks on Wamp make him appear the frontrunner at this point. Why else would they care?

The problem is Wamp can out debate either of the other two. Ramsey should pack it in. He had a chance but he didn’t know what to do with it. His window of opportunity has passed.

How anyone can vote for Haslam after hearing him speak is a mystery. It isn’t what he says, because the script is fine, it is that he coveys very loudly he doesn’t believe in himself. You can teach anyone how to speak the words, see Obama and his teleprompters, but you cannot teach self actualization.

Haslam speaks more with his body language than he does with the words he rented. He doesn’t believe in himself.

So you folks are not going to address the whole point in of the youtube?

It looks pretty clear that Zack Wamp is a liar.

People in Knoxville are starting to realize Wamp is the stronger candidate. They wrote that first check to Haslam out of obligation but have realized he’d make a terrible Governor.

People are hedging their bets. Wamp will surprise with his $$ figures in December…

I’m glad you believe everything that comes out of Wamp’s twit.

    I’m sure he appreciates it.

I’ll wait until an objective source releases it.

I’m glad you like Wamp. He’ll make a fine role model, seeing as how he partied himself out of a college education.

He’ll fit right in since only about 17% of ninth gradersin Tennessee will graduate from college within six years of entering.

Of course, AT LEAST THEY GRADUATE.

Zach Wamp is only for Tennessee businesses, IF they support him.

“Rich (metulj’s aside: Formerly of the group “Big and Rich,” which after listening to one of their tracks, proves P.T. Barnum right again) talked about why he is committed to the Congressman over the Mayor. He got a loud response from the large crowd when he talked about how he has traveled all over the country in these buses and they have 18 wheelers traveling behind them. He said they have stopped at a few Pilot’s and they have the worst hamburgers. He also said the diesel fuel is always 8 - 9 cents higher per gallon. The crowd loved it.”

In other words, it doesn’t matter if you’re a successful business that’s based in Tennessee, you’re fair game if you ain’t for Zach.

Business people should take note: How is this being pro-business in Tennessee, if you only support those businesses that support Wamp?

    What scum.

The only thing that Wamp has ever run is his mouth, and he’s about to run that into the ground.

    Davy,

I attended the Wamp fundraiser in Knoxville last night and I can indeed be a witness to the fact that your wussy candidate needs to watch his back. Wamp is gaining ground quickly.

I also watched the education forum on tv at my home and can be a witness to the fact that Bill Haslam has a legitimate twitch when he gets nervous. His sentences were only filled with “ums” and “uhs” and lacked the substance that our next governor should have. He and Ward Cammack next to each other look like Dumb and Dumber.

That’s the best you can do?!?

Haslam may indeed “twitch,” when he gets nervous.

It’s been said your candidate has a habit of “snorting” when he…well, just wanted to have fun.

“Dumb and dumber” might describe the picture that you had taken with Wamp at Gettysvue, or it might just describe Wamp day-to-day:

“Wamp says, “If you’re not a good reader, you’re playing catch up the whole way, they start teaching things that you don’t understand, because you didn’t learn to read good.”

AAAHRRROOOO!!! Ok, Ok everybody. I will admit I’m one of Haslam’s paid off, stuck up, fresh outta college grads that couldn’t get a job elsewhere.

So, what do I do? Sit around and post CONTINUOUSLY on Nashville Post. And I don’t have a freakin blue clue about TN politics, but I like to say bad things about the other candidates..HEHE

Why? Because I’m queer as a football bat. That’s why.

And I hide behind the name “Davy”…until that is somebody finds out who I am and beats my ass.

Stupid comment. If you’ve heard Ward, his problem is that he is too wonkish. He’s very knowledgeable.

And I’m sure he and Haslam both know when to properly use “good” and “well”. Does that make Wamp dumbest?

Wamp supporters are such a class act.

By the way is that a threat, that last sentence?

I really would like to know.

You seriously can’t debate the qualifications of your candidate, so you impersonate someone on a blog.

I think you show the utter desperation that the Wamp campaign feels.

So you all are going to win the governorship by threatening people and intimidation?

    Classic thuggery.

    The Taliban would be proud.

But watch the threats. These people may want to talk to you

Buddy, just don’t go back to Wamp’s college days. It’s not on the up and up. Let’s leave it at that.

He’s been a strong public servant for too long to treat him and his family that way.

Sure buddette, soon as Wamp quits going back to Haslam’s birth.

Wamp’s college days weren’t on the “up and up?”

I think they were for him.

Lets discuss my record here and how I created jobs for Tennesseans.
    1. My Daddy started Pilot Oil. He gave me a job after I graduated from a private college for rich kids.
I could afford this great education because the company my Daddy started sells cigarettes that kill people and gasoline the pollutes the air and kills people. But both are VERY PROFITABLE and create jobs because
    1. we pay our workers minimun wage
    2. both our products are highly addictive which assures those people of jobs in the future
    AND
    3. Our products force people into medical facilities that employ even more people.
I am proud that single handedly we put more people into hospitals and funeral homes than either of my opponents. On top of all that…the money that we extract out of the common working man goes directly to the Middle East where they distribute it back to young people educating them to hate us and to come kill more of Americans.
So dont think for a second Im sitting around worrying about Zach Wamp. Im focused on creating more jobs. Now if I could just get Wamp and Ramsey to take up smoking like our President..anyone have any ideas here?

great post Bill but you left out two big points…..
    1. when you send the Tennessee money to the middle east so that they can afford to come back and kill Americans…you are creating even more minimum wage jobs for the security industry….
    2. And Without Pilot Oil’s contribution to asthma and lung cancer ..the funeral industry in Tennessee would be in big trouble (since healthy folks can now live to nearly 80)
so in that sense YES you are a job creating machine.
Has Pilot Oil ever considered selling guns or ammo? that could be a whole new product line as well….

If you’re talking about health, make sure you remember Wamp’s support of Oak Ridge and all those nukes.

And all those sick workers…with cancer.

Wamp likes those nukes. ORNL has enough highly enriched uranium for about 10,000 Hiroshima bombs.

It’s The Wamp Thing’s (along w/others) Sacred Cow.
    Is Wamp endangering East Tennessee?

For every dollar the Haslams have “earned” someone has paid for it with their lives, their health or OUR tax dollars that we have to spend to try and keep their “customers” alive from lung cancer, diabetes or obesity.

Pilot Oil likes to cloaks itself as this All American business success story while pushing the real societal cost of their products off to the American taxpayers.
To hear Haslam speak you’d think Pilot Oil was doing as much good as the American Cancer Society when in fact they’re a cancer on American society.
