Isn’t It Ironic?

Michael Silence thinks it strange that the legislature is getting kudis for its online openness when they exempt themselves from most open government legislation that passes through their hands:

How funny that the folks who have exempted themselves from the state’s Open Meetings law receive an award like this. Openness and the Legislature are two words that have never been compatible. Talk about not living by the rules you make. Until that is corrected, awards like the above ring hollow.
