Stupid illiterate mutants. I lived up that way in the early 1990s and got the heck out as fast as possible. Utica, New York is the most depressing place on the face of the earth. It’s the kind of place where people suspect something of you if you smile; nobody smiles in Utica. Half the roads were created by mafia-funded politicians. They’ve been in an economic decline since they hosted one of the first Republican Party conventions in 1854.
