Robin’s Rapid Response On Forrester

Posted on July 31, 2009 at 4:58 pm

In response to this post by from the TNDP, Robin Smith spokesman Mark Winslow said the following:

“Following on his last personal attack that had Democrats distancing themselves from his outlandish rhetoric, Chip Forrester has another irrational screed about Robin Smith in the context of judicial nominees and legislation in the Tennessee General Assembly.

By attacking her on the issue of a Supreme Court nomination, Chip Forrester has shown again that Robin Smith is the liberals’ greatest fear when it comes to their dream of giving Nancy Pelosi control of the Third District seat. This trend of repeated personal attacks demonstrates that Democrats view Robin Smith as the clear frontrunner for the Republican nomination and to win next November. While the Democrats chief spokesman rants about issues unrelated to the House of Representatives, Robin is working hard to make sure that she wins the Republican nomination and keeps the voices and values of East Tennesseans represented in Congress.”

Robin is referring to herself in the third person. Robin is afraid to stand on Robin’s record. Robin is going to scream “personal attack” every time someone mentions Robin’s record. Robin should get out of the kitchen if she can’t stand the heat.

Sorry, should have specified the statement was from spokesman Mark Winslow. Corrected now.

Robin’s skin better thicken if she’s going to survive this election.

Didn’t one of her Republican opponents raise five or six times more money than she did?

Wow, all that spinning from Winslow is making my head spin. And Robin Smith still hasn’t distanced herself from the racist, intolerant, hateful attacks on our President. Heap lot of good she’s gonna do trying to represent District 3. You get the representation you deserve, and Tennessee deserves better than Robin Smith.

Isn’t it her dream to be the front runner. The Republicans I know see her as a non-starter. Too negative and off the wall. Everyone I know in the district see Chuck F. and Tim G. as the real race. The democrats are trying to make her the front runner just to excite their base. If she were to win the GOP priomary then the Dems win the election.
