So…Ron Ramsey didn’t really raise 1.3 million after all. He actually “raised” about 1.2 if you consider that nifty little $125,000 his Senate campaign handed over.

Then you consider the roughly $125,000 he shook out of state PACs…and the number of dollars raised from actual Tennesseans gets lower and lower.

    Another $50-70k from LLCs…

Of course he’s gonna need to pull all the tricks he can. The countdown is on, about 5 1/2 months left before the lights shut out on Lt. Gov Ramsey again.

We need an honest, committed Tennessean like General Bill Gibbons to lead our state not a shady Lt. Governor who submits his report at the last possible minute…God knows what kind of things were done to that report to make it look OK.

Ramsey raised more and has more on hand than Wamp w/in 2 weeks as opposed to zw’s 6 months. Plus, zw is officially a lame duck, as was Hilleary and Bryant in both 2002 and 2006. Leading up to the 2010 session, Ramsey will far, far outraise zw. Conservatives need to begin to call on zach to stay in Congress where he does a great job.

As I said before, a sitting Lt. Gov. doesn’t need to raise money during the session, it should flow to his power and influence. Ramsey will make money from all those people he’s helped - or will help - by steering legislation. East TN values - not really, ’cause his constituency is big biz and gambling interests, not the common hard working little mtn. people.
