Posted on July 16, 2009 at 3:54 pm

From the Cincinnati Enquirer:

Republican Mike Huckabee, who ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008, and former Democratic Congressman Harold Ford Jr. of Tennessee will appear at this year’s Northern Kentucky University’s 10th Annual Alumni Lecture Series.

The joint lecture and discussion is scheduled at 8 p.m. Nov. 18 in NKU’s Student Union Ballroom.

“Each year, this dynamic event brings together intelligent and entertaining leaders on both sides of the political spectrum to engage in a spirited and informative discussion on the issues of the day,” NKU President James Votruba said in a statement.

Huckabee is actually a really good speaker, maybe even more so than Junior. He came to Cornell last spring and packed the house.

If I wanted to watch two Republicans talk about issues, I’d turn on Fox.
