That why Professor Bruce Oppenheimer says the GOP gubernatorials have more than the Dems:

“It’s clear that given the amount of money that Republicans are willing to invest in trying to win the nomination, they see that nomination as more valuable at this point or having a better chance of paying off than the Democrats do the Democratic nomination.”

    or it could just be that Bill Haslam is trying to buy the election and everyone else in the GOP is trying to keep up.

    or it could be that field of Democratic candidates are so incrediably weak that nobody thinks they can win, so why invest in a bunch of loosers.

    common sense might want to fact check. As much as I wanted to believe it, I thought Haslam would buy the nomination, too… but go see how much money he raised in the last reporting period that was his.
