No Promises
By Kleinheider Posted on July 13, 2009 at 7:23 pmLeftWingCracker thinks that Rep. Steve Cohen needs to stand foursquare behind the public option for health care. The Congressman, well, he doesn’t like to speak in absolutes:
I also understand the term used often by our hero Ted Kennedy, that “the perfect is the enemy of the good”. However, in this case, I’d like to turn that spin around and say that, in the instance of the public option, half-assed and inadequate is the enemy of the necessary and the acceptable.

I like that blue outfit he has on.
It is a good outfit… and at least he’s honest. I think Congressman Cohen is a fine representative of his constituents back home.
So do i. We are just holding his feet to the fire on this in case Democratic leadership is stupid enough to try and pass a bill without a public option.
I wondered if I was going to be the only person to mention the outfit. Guess not.
