Kimmie Mac 2.0 Release Notes: New Version No Longer Supports Income Tax
By Kleinheider Posted on July 5, 2009 at 6:12 pmThe Clarksville paper reveals that gubernatorial candidate Kim McMillan serves as her own Information Technology director:
“We have eight to 10 volunteers in our rotation right now, but there will be more later,” she said. “They’re constantly shuffling in and out of here doing tasks that free us (the staff) up to do other things.”
While McMillan calls herself the “IT director” of the campaign with her ability to connect and maintain electronic devices around the headquarters, Munday said developing “alternative media” outlets is vital. Thus, the McMillan campaign has a Web site and a Facebook page, and she blogs and Twitters. Later in the month, a “new media team” will be assembled, Munday said.
“We want to reach a more active demographic, not necessarily young people, but issue-oriented people,” he said of alternative media. “It’s a new approach that’s always evolving.”
