Shout Out To Tuke

Lamar Alexander gives one at an appearance before the Nashville Women’s Political Caucus:

“I want to publicly acknowledge Bob Tuke,” Sen. Alexander said, recognizing his 2008 Democratic opponent. “Bob’s led his party, a different party from mine. I admire him for sticking his neck into the political competition. He conducted himself like a good sport and a tough competitor. I appreciate that. I appreciate his service to our state.” Tuke is the former Democratic Party chairman who ran against incumbent Alexander for his Senate seat in 2008.
