Rumor Mill In Memphis

A blogger says Willie Herenton will not resign his office to run for congress. The TeeVee says he will but may run again for his office if he doesn’t like the candidates.

Then there’s another rumor mill that says he’ll be indicted within 2 weeks.

Not while he is a candidate for anything. if he runs for Cohen’s seat and loses, then it will happen. Why, you may ask? Because if WWH is indicted while a candidate, he will accuse everyone of conspiring against him, and he has enough of a following to tear the city to pieces.

Don’t think he wouldn’t do it.
