Ramsey Still Counting

And they are soliciting funds right up until the wire.

We’ve only a few hours to go before our midnight fundraising deadline and we are very close to achieving our goal.

We remain $1,055 away from our goal.

They couldn’t raise the $6,000 they needed since they emailed me this morning? I could stand on the street corner and raise $6,000 if I was the Lt. Governor.

I just thought to myself, “self, how could Ron think the average person believes he can’t raise $6,000.” Self said, “Brad Todd=17%”

Silence from the Ramsey campaign is deafening. All of the stories today are making this out to be a two man race and Ramsey is silent.

It may be a one man race once the Lt. Gov announces his numbers and it may be the Lt. Governor is the front runner and not Haslam or Wamp. He had just a few WEEKS to raise money so if it’s a big number, he may be patiently waiting to issue that blow to the other candidates. Or his silence may mean he didn’t get to the number he wanted. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

It will have to be a big number for Ramsey to sustain the fact he can’t raise for 5 months next year. If it’s not big, then he’s done.

Ramsey will make be back raising money in February. He’ll make sure that’s the first bill they pass next session.

If he couldn’t get it passed this session…what leads you to believe he’ll get it passed next session. Not disagreeing with you, but with next year being an election year, don’t see why Dems will be jumping to help Ramsey.

Sure, it will fly through the Senate, but as we saw this year, the House is a totally different ball game.
