Rep. Maddox Still In The Hospital

State Rep. Mark Maddox says his hospital stay is taking longer than he expected.

The Dresden Democrat entered Volunteer Community Hospital June 13 after complaining of severe stomach pain.

Maddox told WCMT Radio in Martin from his hospital room on Wednesday that he was diagnosed with pancreatitis - an inflammation of the pancreas.
