Rep. John Lewis Will Keynote Davidson Dem Fundraiser

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (June 25, 2009) - Forty-six years after delivering the keynote speech during the historic 1963 March on Washington, civil rights movement leader and Georgia Congressman, John Lewis, will keynote the 2009 Davidson County Democratic Party Honors Dinner. The dinner will be held on Saturday, August 1, at the Hutton Hotel, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The dinner will honor Lewis and all the leaders and participants of The Nashville Civil Rights Movement, who did so much to forever change the city of Nashville.
