TNGOP Chief Of Staff Says Good-Bye

Mark Winslow tells friends he’s moving on:
After nearly two amazing years, my service as Chief of Staff of the Tennessee Republican Party came to an end on June 4. I leave with great pride in the accomplishments of the past year.
As friends, many of you have heard me say that my service under our great Senator Bill Frist was the honor of a lifetime. In some ways, I feel that I caught lightning twice because beside that honor I can now place my work with Robin Smith.
I wish every Republican in Tennessee could have had the opportunity to see, as I did, how Robin selflessly stood for you every day of her tenure as Chairman with integrity, dignity and uncommon courage. I am grateful for the opportunity to see history made in Tennessee as Chief of Staff to the most successful leader in the long history of our great party.
In these trying times, we will need nominees for Governor and the other crucial offices on the ballot with real-world knowledge of the issues facing everyday Tennesseans and we must have a strong, experienced hand to guide our state. We will only move forward by supporting candidates who have defended our values and walked the walk. Our party must stand with men and women who understand small business, hard work and the core values that made the Tennessee Republican Party so successful in 2008. Though my role will change, my commitment to supporting true conservatives will not. Like you, I believe in solid grassroots Republicans who know how to get their hands dirty in the good work of nominating and electing the right candidate.
For now, this great adventure has come to a close… but new ones are always waiting to begin. I am grateful to so many friends across Tennessee for the kindnesses you have shown during my time at the TRP. Please know that I am always available at this address and look forward to the next great adventure we will share together.
Thanks,
Mark WinslowTennessee Republican Party

Where’s he going?
Yeah, it takes a lot of “courage” to post racist, inflammatory, vile press releases and still show up at Hixson Baptist Church on Sunday morning.
