    An anti-semetic 9/11 truther……sounds more like the kind of person you’d find posting at dailykos. Are we sure this isn’t a case of radical leftwing terrorism?

    Pretty sure considering his pronounced hatred of liberalism, global organizations, and the idea that Barack Obama is a secret muslim foreigner. In fact, I take it back, seems more in line with the leadership of the GOP Caucus.

When will the leaders on the left come out an denounce those who perpetuate conspiracy theories about 9/11 and spread anti-semitism on leftwing hate websites?

    You guys are proud of this? The level of discourse in this country is so subzero that people from BOTH major ’sides’ have ZERO qualms about characterizing their opponants’ ideology as terroristic?

    You’re happy about contributing to that? This man who did this is sick and broken. A vile representation of the worst we can become. And instead of denouncing that basest evil you want to link him to your neighbours, your coworkers and your family members? Because that’s who The Other Side IS.

    It is sickening that you’d stoop to this. It is also sickening that you’d cheapen the gravity of this terrorist’s actions by trying to morph them into a Daily Showesque punchline.

    Well, the President already came out and denounced the 9/11 conspiracy theorists in his speech in Cairo…and I’m not sure what “leftwing websites” you read, but sites like DailyKos are pretty good about policing out anti-Semitic or 9/11 truther posts.

    No, I’m not proud of it, in fact I made the above comment to make a point about the left’s strategy of trying to paint all conservatives as domestic terrorists based on the actions of one man in the Tiller murder.

    I don’t think this man was a leftwinger, I don’t care what he was, but as soon as the story broke, the left was digging through the guys political history trying to link him to the other side. It’s pretty scary.

    JB - it diesn’t matter. No one is painting *all conservatives’ as domestic terrorists. But this man happens to be one. And his philosophy is in line with extreme right wing political thought.
    When - when and if - you won’t find many, if any, here supporting left wing assassinations and terrorism.
    As for your comment about his history - it sure didn’t take THE MEDIA, including Fox, to discover he’s got a really long history of this stuff. You don’t think his history is relevant? Of course it is … you know it.
