Hobbs had to be the worst flack in the history of Tennessee politics. He actually phoned reporters to harangue them and make absurd demands. Like all far-right kooks, he hates the media. If you’re trying to encourage positive coverage, he’s not your guy. Ask any reporter what they think about Hobbs, and eyes roll.
