Twenty Eight Votes

There will be 54 TNGOP State Executive Committeemen voting for TNGOP Chairman out of 66 eligible today at the downtown Sheraton. That means just 28 votes takes the prize.

That’s 2 less than I believed would be there. I wonder which two were not there…

Such things do turn races. Remember the Ryder/Hilleary race last year? One Hilleary supporter leaves after the 1st ballot, which ends in a tie. Hilleary loses on the second ballot.

Guess the SEC ain’t much different than November elections. Turnout is key.
