Well, it’s either that or the Klan meeting with the TNGOP… decisions, decisions….

I can’t imagine a “Celebration of Barack Obama’s First 100 Days” being a huge draw on the campus of Union University. Maybe the giant LED sign in front of Robert Hill’s law office promoting it, along with all his huge personal injury settlements, will draw in some people from off campus.

Actually, Union is one of the most active College Dems chapter in the state. They have good solid leadership.

I think you’d be surprised by the number of students who voted for our President. As a former student, I can testify to countless individuals that voted for and still support President Obama. I don’t know why this is shocking anyone.

By the way, JB, if you fall in Wal-Mart and suffer a severe injury, I am pretty sure you’d find an attorney. You act like these companies at least try to make right in the first place, which they rarely do.

Speaking of organized college dems in TN, whatever happened to that Ian Prunty guy? He had all the college dems around the state very well organized back in 2006? The Dems should repeat his statewide efforts?

Why are they holding this at Union? Why didnt those four or five democrats at Union get together with Robert Hill and his intern Lowe Finney and have a fundraising dinner for their fellow friends in christ at Lambuth? Lambuth is hanging on by a thread right now and needs every penny it can get its hands on to just meet its payroll. Wouldnt that help you more in the long run than just stuffing money in the useless cause known as the Madison County democrat party? Lambuth is a conservative school just like Union and Freed is. Can you imagine what great pr, Hill and the democrat gov candidates would receive if they had done that? Lambuth has been pretty friendly to John Wilder over the years just like Freed Hardeman has…to my knowledge Union hasnt done much for any democrat. Also isnt preacher Roy a methodist minister? Why is he showing up at a baptist school for a fundraiser/celebration/dinner while his fellow methodists across town need money? Lambuth has been pretty bi partisan…even that so called extremely hard right Freed Hardeman has reached across the aisle and been friendly with Wilder and its alum State Rep John Deberry. They had to lay off people just last week. It seems the democrats though arent returning the bi partisan favor to the “right wing schools” that have helped them.
