Posted on March 23, 2009 at 12:09 pm

Ken Whitehouse has the breaker. Sen. Alexander’s longtime chief of staff will leave his post but will continue to consult with Sens. Alexander and Corker and most notably Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam who is currently running for governor.

UPDATE: R. Neal on the news.

It is the worse campaign for GOV I have ever seen
They have nothing…well they have a lot of money that may be all they need.

This is a serious development…Ingram saved Corkers bacon and has spent many years producing Lamars best stuff. He is a formidible force in the media wars of the campaign business. This gives Haslam a big leg up on the race right now.

no comparison between Corker, Alexander and Haslam..

it’s easy when you have great candidates and Haslam is NOT one of those even with all that money. bet he will not win in the primary - very weak speaker and it’s clear he doesn’t understand the issues.
