Howard Dean For HHS?

Posted on February 3, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Sean Braisted makes the case for the architect of the 50 State Strategy to head up the Department of Health and Human Services:

The idea that this charismatic, intelligent, and successful politician should be blackballed from the Obama administration because Rahm Emmanuel and he had a few tiffs over fundraising is just absolutely ridiculous. If you can nominate a Republican who opposes the Cabinet position he’s being nominated for, surely this qualified candidate should receive consideration.

    YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Phil Bredesen is imminently more qualified, but that ain’t gonna happen. :)

Seriously, Dean would be a good choice, considering he would be the point man for single-payer.

Dean’s a natural for the HHS position. After all, he knows so much about psychotropic medications based on his own experience.

Talk about the inmates running the asylum…

    Cheers,

    Rob
