New York Times Issues Correction On Crafton Claim

The Nashville Scene tells us that the Gray Lady has redacted the assertion made by Councilman Eric Crafton in its pages that California legislators have relied on translators to conduct business.

Of course, we already knew that the assertion was false because Braisted told us almost a week ago.

And I catch Crafton in yet another lie, this one related to Oregon firefighters.

Crafton has yet to provide one legitimate example of government services provided in a foreign language. I guess all of the examples out there aren’t sufficient to spark the proper outrage, so he’s resorted to exaggeration and outright lies. One might *almost* think the “war on English” is all a Crafton/Taunton fantasy.
