A Healer Among Men

Posted on January 16, 2009 at 9:59 am

Bill Frist on the legacy of George W. Bush:

A legacy of President George W. Bush will be that he saved 10 million lives around the world.

His critics ignore it, but name another president about whom one can say that with such certainty. It is what historians will say a decade from now looking back. Not bad for a president who leaves office with the lowest approval rating in recent memory.

The bottom line is: George Bush is a healer.

Yeah I love how he healed the country after the stolen 2000 election. Oh, wait ….

Well, scratch that. I love how he healed Iraq … DANG, can’t go there either.

Love how he healed the Gulf Coast after Hurriance Katrina …Yeesh. Never mind.

Dear Bill Frist, please send me the videotape you’ve been watching because I just don’t see it.

I’d love to know where he arrives at that 10 million number.

I like how Fristy ignores the work of the Clinton Global Initiative to reduce the costs of HIV drugs in Africa, to raise funds to find the disease, to promote testing, etc…

Yeah, that 15 Billion Bush asked for helped, but that was just a piece of the pie.

Wow, this is as sharp and accurate as his Terri Schiavo diagnosis, what a shame this man isn’t running for Governor.

Wow… the bile that’s spewed on these pages from the likes of some of you. The Clinton Global Intiative is a provate money machine that raises funds for various causes, it’s not the Office of the President. We’re assessing the role of the President in Office, not of the fundraising abilities of private institutions.

I can look back at the Clinton Administration and recognize the good things that occurred during the eight years he was in office. I don’t understand why those on the left can’t recognize the good things which happened under the Bush Administration.

And anyone who utters “stolen election” in conjunction with 2000 is a poor, pathetic excuse for a human being, and I immediately write them off in political debate. There’s no reasoning with some people.
