Justin Wilson Is The New Comptroller Of The Treasury

Throwing aside controversy over lobbying activities and his actions in the Sundquist Administration, the General Assembly has voted 69-62 to replace current Comptroller John Morgan with former Deputy Governor and Waller attorney Justin Wilson. The vote was strict party line.

    If I’m hearing correctly, Speaker Williams has so far voted each time for the Republican nominee for constitutional office.

    It’s going to be a sweep.
