He Deserves To Be Called ‘Traitor’

TNGOP Chair Robin Smith thinks the shouting heard in the House chamber yesterday when Kent Williams became Speaker was completely in line with the events of the day:

“I think when you heard the calls of traitor come from the gallery when he made his vote for himself, rather than a leadership, I think that was very appropriate,” said Robin Smith, chairwoman for the Tennessee Republican Party.

Did Kent Williams not see what happened to Senator Williams last year? I dont see how he survives past next year. The GOP didnt even have a top candidate in Faulk and they still knocked off Senator Williams. Smith and them just need to exhale. Two years from now the House will be where the senate is today.

“Two years from now the House will be where the senate is today.”

That’s a pretty big assumption. Fits right in with Karl Rove’s “permanent majority” proclamtion. And we all know how “permanent” it turned out to be.
