   That’s a shame, we need him on the council to balance the idiots like Eric Crafton. But congrats to him, he’ll do a great job in this new role.

   Why does it matter if he’s gay? Who cares? I’m sure it’s merely a part of him… and it doesn’t define him in his entirety.

   I’m sure, when introducing himself, he doesn’t say, “Hi, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Keith Durbin, and I’m gay.”

   If the gay community would move past the “we’re here, we’re queer.” I really have a lot to say on this subject… but it’ll probably just anger folks, so I’ll shut up.
