[W]e need some kind of stimulus package, whether or not it increases the national debt (What’s a few more billion anyway?). Many states are in dire straits, and the Treasury might as well give them a loan before they come begging, though I have to say I would enjoy the spectacle of Gov. Schwarzenegger begging for a hand out. But stimulus would not only be for states relying on a sales tax and traffic tickets for sustenance (ahem, Tennessee), some breaks would have to go directly to us little people.
