Putting A Cork In The Negativity

Senator Bob Corker offered his interesting perspective a moment ago on what he expects from tonight.

He conceded that he doesn’t really watch television, he only reads the newspaper. So he hasn’t seen the increasing ferocity of the candidate’s recent advertising. However, he doesn’t believe that we will see any fireworks in this debate.

“Go back to 2006. My race for Senate was a very tough hard fought race. But the debates were always very civil, very gentlemanly,” Corker explained. “It just doesn’t make sense to go on the attack in a debate like this.”
