Why Is Sasser So Scurred?

Posted on October 2, 2008 at 8:26 am

Kevin McCann doesn’t understand why the Tennessee Democratic Party feels the need to trash a candidate who is not even on the ballot:

If Senator Kurita’s write-in campaign is “floundering” as Gray Sasser claims, why is he so worried about her that he has to issue press releases about her, and with such far-fetched claims? If she’s such a non-factor, why bother bringing her name up? Because Gray Sasser and the Tennessee Democratic Party are worried about her. The odds are historically stacked against a write-in candidate, yet there must be uneasiness about backlash from her stolen election for Democrats to continue attacking her.

In today’s press release, Gray Sasser will detail how 6 years ago House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh allied himself with then Governor Sundquist and also “cast his lot with the income tax proponents of the Tennessee Republican Party.”

Could have something to do with the frivolous law suit.

This woman will do anything to grab power. She cut a deal with the Republican on speaker and lied to Democrats about it. She lost a primary because she cheated and then she tries to play victim. Now she cuddles up with all these groups she claims to disagree with. Sasser is right to point it out.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Somethings up.

BTW: I’m sorry for Gray Sasser. He’s a really nice and smart guy but has himself between a rock and a hard place.
