Michael Silence praises Rep. Duncan for his penchant for poking his finger in the eye of the establishment and conventional wisdom:

I have to say how much I respect Duncan’s independent streak. Remember, he’s one of the few who opposed the war in Iraq, warning, among other things, of the economic price tag. How nice it would be to see more members of Congress with Duncan’s backbone, as opposed to the over abundance of partisan puppets.

You mean the ones who care more about their political careers and committee assignments doled out by the “leadership” than about speaking truth once elected to office?
