Rep David Davis Says Tennessee Dems Did The Right Thing Stripping Kurita

U.S. Rep. David Davis said today the Tennessee Democratic Party “did the right thing” in invalidating a close primary election in a state Senate race that was roiled by charges of heavy Republican interference.

“I think both parties ought to have the right to choose their nominee, and the Tennessee Democratic Party in my mind did the right thing by following Tennessee state law,” said Davis, a Johnson City Republican.

He would say that since he lost. His opponent won and so did Ros. I hope the GOP won’t follow the poor example of my fellow Democrats and invalidate a public vote.
