But I thought it would be valuable to put her two whole years of experience into context. She’s the governor of Alaska — a state with a population of 670,000. Her entire state has about as many people as Memphis, Tennessee, the country’s 17th-largest city.

Delaware and Alaska each elect a single, at-large congressman to represent their states.

What’s hilarious is that I’d vote for Herenton long before I’d vote for Palin, and I’m not exactly what you’d call a Herenton booster. At least Herenton has a record.
