The Guy Who’s Not The Guy Is The Guy: Obama Picks Biden

It’s looking like the first African-American nominee has picked a man who once bragged on being from a slave state:

The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.

    I just tested her site for the timestamp, and it is CST, so she was on top of it…she went on the same thing I did…the Secret Service being dispatched, as opposed to waiting for the text or email…which I still haven’t gotten!
    Did ANYONE get “the” email and text from the Obama campaign?

    Woman for McCain?

    Well I got the Biden pick right (in the contest for a steak dinner at Jimmy Kelly’s) and it was his best choice, the risk-averse pick.

    I picked Mark Sanford, gov of S. Carolina, for McCain and I do think it would be a great pick but I am leaning toward Sarah Palin, gov of Alaska, now. However, I think his safe pick is Romney.
