The TNGOP, with their best produced video yet, attempts to paint Obama as just another black pol by linking him to the corrupt mayor of Detroit:

UPDATE: Bill Hobbs takes issue:

Thanks for linking to our new video, though I reject your portrayal of it as having anything to do with race. The ad focuses on Obama’s questionable character judgment given his description of Mayor Kilpatrick as a “great” mayor.

    So Obama is to be villified for saying something about a guy at a press conference, but McCain is to be forgiven for ripping off the country’s savings and loans? Hey, Tennessee Republicans, how many billions did that cost the taxpayers?

    Setting aside the TNGOP’s racist tendencies…I wonder if there are any shots of McCain with Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, Ted Stevens, Don Young, Larry Craig, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Ollie North, G. Gordon Liddy, Tom Delay, or for that matter, John McCain and Charles Keating.
