Roe V. Davis

In Upper East Tennessee’s 1st Congressional District, incumbent David Davis and challenger Phil Roe are in a dead heat with about 15 percent of the vote counted.

According to the Associated Press, Davis has 7,421 votes - or 50 percent of those counted so far - compared to Roe’s 7,379.

Here’s hoping that if we have to suffer more Republican foolishness in TN-1 that it won’t be Davis’ particularly insipid type of foolishness we have suffered for two years.

This Liberal Dem crossed over and voted for Roe.
Along with many others.
