Al Gore Makes A Surprise Visit To Netroots Nation
By Kleinheider Posted on July 19, 2008 at 3:50 pmFrom the Nation Magazine:
Gore thanked the several thousand attendees for creating a “movement” that can “reclaim the integrity of American democracy” by fostering a “well-informed citizenry that is involved and engaged.” Drawing on the critique of the media and democratic discourse from his book, The Assault on Reason, Gore contrasted the netroots’ fact-driven writing and activism with the “malignant manifestation of hunger for power” among corrupt leaders on the Right.

The Left and Right have their share of corrupt leaders. (Gore’s boss Clinton comes to mind)
You know who was probably the most excited to see Al Gore? Nancy Pelosi. It meant that she didn’t have to answer any more questions.
All that Bozone Al does anymore is remind one that, as bad as Republicans are, Democrats are orders of magnitude worse.
In 1998, every single Democrat in the United States Senate voted to keep in office a President who they knew, and publicly admitted, was guilty as sin of the felonies for which he had been impeached in the House. Every. Single. Democrat. And they voted that way, as “Sheets” Byrd admitted, simply because he was a Democrat.
Since this time, anyone who belongs to the Democratic Party is demonstrably someone without the faintest hint of ethics or integrity.
