The Mystery Of Montyfacts

Sean Braisted thinks that a website devoted to trashing carpetbagging 4th District Congressional candidate Monty Lankford may be the brainchild of a certain Nashville-based political consulting firm:

As for the website, while on the surface it appears to be designed by a Republican challenger, it sort of has the look and feel of a FRCR product…and they were listed as consultants for Davis earlier this year. Unfortunately, its registered to an anonymous source so we’ll just have to guess.

UPDATE: A comment from Bill Fletcher:

Until you brought it to my attention I wasn’t aware of that website. That video has been around for a while on the web. I have seen it before.

The website appears to me to be an intriguing look into the vicious battle being waged by the various Republicans who want to lose to Congressman Lincoln Davis in the fall.

With so much petty bickering in Washington, it is sad and disheartening to see Tennessee Republicans at each other’s throats in their own primary. Perhaps they should have some family therapy and try to work out their differences before somebody gets their feelings hurt.

I wish that our fellow Republicans would follow Ronald Reagan’s “11th Commandment”…”Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican”.

As a voter, I want solutions not accusations from a candidate.
