The Epic Saga Of Pigeon And Tooks

Posted on July 2, 2008 at 11:12 am

An anonymous commenter takes issue with the new poll in the U.S. Senate race:

Nobody I’ve talked to has even really known who either Tuke or Padgett are, and even people whom I talk to regularly about the race (like my father) can get their names right (”How’s that primary between Pigeon and Tooks going?”).

I can hear the pollsters’ question now: “In the Democratic primary race, will you vote for decorated Marine veteran Bob Tuke, endorsed by General Wesley Clark and former Sen. Max Cleland, former lowly county official Mike Padgett, or one of those other guys?”

Someone ask both of ‘em what their positions on Iraq and the use of the US military are.

Someone in a “leadership” position killing Vietnamese, that negatively impresses me.
