John Ford Jury Selection

Posted on July 1, 2008 at 7:19 am

Barring any additional finger issues cropping up today, the trial of John Ford should begin jury selection today:

Ford will stand trial in federal court on charges of wire fraud and concealment of material facts arising from consulting fees paid to him by two firms contracting with TennCare. He was paid $800,000 for work for an HMO and a dental services provider in 2002-05, the government says. Among other things, Ford is accused of never disclosing his relationship with those firms while he was in the legislature.
