The Libertarian Party has filed lawsuits in Ohio and Tennessee against what it says are unconstitutionally restrictive ballot-access laws.

In Tennessee it was not the National Lp that filed suit. The ballot access lawsuit is a partnership between the Libertarian, Green, and Constitutional Parties at the State level. The Libertarian Party of Tennessee has submitted bills to the legislature for the last several years in order to try and make the process more fair for third parties, but with no luck. The bills always get killed in Committee and never see the light. Why is it such a fight just to be able to put a L,G,or C beside our candidates names on ballots? Kind of silly if you ask me. Come on guys its just one letter.
